PUBLIC IMPACT LIVE TRAVELS TO DENVER COLORADO FOR THE BIRTH OF AMERICAN RIGHT TO LIFE!

Group shot of ARTL foundersFor over 10 years I hosted the Public Impact program on two different stations AM 730 WJYM and WPOS FM 102.3. I had the priviledge by invitation of Pastor and talk show host Bob Enyart to attend the inaugural press conference for American Right To Life. The Public Imact show was broadcast live both days of the event. I also had great fun taking all the photographs presented here.

Alan Keyes speaks to mediaAs providence would have it, right when I got to the desk to check in at the hotel, I was witness to local media interviewing 2008 presidential candidate Alan Keyes. I simply had to take advantage of the great lighting and get a few close shots! Dr. Alan Keyes is a brilliant orator whom I have had the priveledge of meeting and learning from via interview on three separate occasions.

First , when he gave the commencement address for the graduates of Freemont College in Ohio. There, I asked him of his possible intentions of running for President in 2000. He was a bit coy with his answer but as we now know he did in fact run for the Republican nomination for the second time in 2000. Alan Keyes close upWhat few Americans remember about that primary is with the media totally against him and a virtual black out of coverage nationwide, Alan Keyes was one of the final three candidates running! The final debate that year was between Alan Keyes, John McCain and George W. Bush.

Alan Keyes also ran an unsuccessful, yet spirited, campaign for the Senate in Illinois agaist Barack Hussein Obama. The media was also stacked against him but in this reporters opinion, he won every debate by staying grounded in Constitutional principles.

Bob EnyartPastor of Denver Bible Church and host of the popular talk radio show, "Bob Enyart Live" was leader of the event. Bob opens his show daily by saying "Greetings to the brightest audience in America". Tune in and listen to his show archives on his website to find out why. Bob was a frequent guest of the Public Impact program including a live in studio appearance during his national tour to support "Focus On The Strategy" a DVD presentation to help let everyone know why after 40 years the pro-life movement is failing... yes failing, by supporting compromise!

Brian Rohrbough from Colorado Right To Life, a key speaker at the event has been on national telivision as well as dozens of radio shows due to his son Brian Rohrbaugh_1Daniel being brutally murdered at Columbine High School.

Brian gave an empassioned speech on the absolute right each person has to life. He emphatically explained that no one has the right to take innocent life. One of the most important declarations Brian made was "Any law that ends in 'and then you can kill the baby' is a BAD LAW!

We are reminded of the cold reality that even if Roe vs. Wade is overturned there are still more than 200 laws on the books that pro life "leaders" supported which will still need to be challenged. One of the most unforgettable moments was the trip Brian led to the Columbine Memorial.Brian at memorial I have not been to anything so moving since the time I went to the Viet Nam Veterans memorial in Washington D.C.

One can only imagine the pain a father must feel giving a tour through a recently completed memorial to a tragedy in which his own son was killed.

With God's help the Rohrbough family has the strength to support a truly uncompromised pro life cause to uphold God's unyeilding command of "Thou Salt Not Murder"

The inscription, in honor of his son, Dan Rohrbough, one of students killed on that April 20 1999 by suicide attackers Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris, says:

Daniel Rohrbaugh MonumentDad, I have a question. Why?

My son in a Nation that legalized the killing of innocent children in the womb; in a County where authorities would lie and cover up what they knew and what they did; in a Godless school system your life was taken ... Dan I'm sorry.

I love you dad I'll see you tomorrow.

7:00 p.m., April 19, 1999.

Children at the memorialThere is no peace, says the Lord, for the wicked.

Isaiah 48:22

The monument was opened to the public on September 21, 2007. These photos were taken on November 12, 2007 as part of the events leading to the official birth of American Right To Life.

Please note American Right To Life is NOT the other national organization you may have hear of. Their failed strategy, as noted on the ARTL website reads: For a quarter century, National RTL and others have dictated a strategy of child-killing regulations (wait, consent, notify, PBA to the navel, "and then you can kill the baby"). As unintended consequences, NRTL's immoral strategy:

  • convinces would-be pro-life judges to reject the God-given right to life in the belief that they have the authority to regulate the killing of the innocent;
  • provides campaign cover for pro-abortion Republican and Democrat politicians who support the latest regulation;
  • prunes the abortion weed and strengthens its root by making it appear more humane;
  • denies inalienable rights from our Creator by promoting moral relativism and legal positivism;will keep abortion legal after Roe v. Wade is overturned and (tragically but expectedly) simply returned to the states, when abortionists kill millions of children by the authority of our own "pro-life" laws, while pro-lifers work for years or even decades to overturn the misguided and immoral child-killing regulations that Jay Sekulow, AUL, and NRTL worked to put on the law books;
  • may keep abortion legal for a century longer than would a principled fight over personhood;
  • and worst of all, the NRTL strategy violates God's command Do not murder with laws ending, "and then you can kill the baby."

ARTL provides new leadership and a renewed vision, but with the same old principles of: honor God, and enforce His enduring command, Do not murder!
